ADVANCED FUNDAMENTALS
This is the first of two videos that Bert Kinister dedicated to technique. This one focuses primarily on the proper alignment of the body and the cue stick as you address and get on the shot. This is fundamental stuff, but from an advanced perspective. Do the work and you will get more consistency into your game. $29.95 (BK11)
AIM TO WIN & BASIC ONE POCKET
In this DVD Bert Kinister teaches you about the game he loves the most. Billed as Basic One Pocket, it covers the rules, the break, and responding to the break as expected. Also included, however, is a collection of well-though-out strategies and insights gleaned from Bert's extensive history with the game. No matter your level of play, you'll get something out of it. In addition, there's a neat, simple aiming technique.
BANK SHOTS FOR 8-BALL & 9-BALL
This is one of Bert's best videos and you will learn a lot from it, including several short hand ways to computer how and where to hit to make the essential banks. All are presented and demonstrated with Kinister's trademark energy, patter and detailed knowledge.
BERT'S 10 BEST HUSTLES
Bert Kinister claims to have made a lot of money with these ten ("Do you think I can make it?") shots. Skill rather then true "trick shots," they look impossible to make. In this DVD, Bert demonstrates each one and shows you how to train to master them.
BUILDING THE INTERIOR OF THE STAR
This is the third video of Bert Kinister’s fantastic 4-disk set. The Star Patterns are a set of drills that will bring your run out rate way up if you do the work. This DVD expands on Using the 6 Pointed Star and needs to be worked successfully before you attempt the material in the final DVD.
BUILDING THE POINTED STAR
This is the first video in the Star Patterns, a total of four videos from Bert Kinister. Certainly one of the best series of drills you can use to bring up your run out percentages, these DVDs need to be used in order as each one develops from the previous one. Spending a few hours with just this one will bring your game up.
INTERMEDIATE ONE POCKET
In this DVD, Bert Kinister delves deeper into the strategy of One Pocket. He demonstrates the importance of patience and how to avoid traps and wait for the right shot. He teaches how to play the count, move balls out of the rack and how to keep the pressure on your opponent. He share additional strategies for responding to the break, handling the end game and more.
KICKING FOR KASH
This is Kinister's first DVD on kicking for 8-Ball & 9-ball. In it, he shows you some simple ways to judge and aim kick shots and how to use them for both offense and defense. Do the work in this video and you'll be giving up ball-in-hand a lot less and putting the squeeze on your opponents more often. $29.95 (BK24)

These four videos need to be used in order: Building the Pointed Star, Using the 6 Pointed Star, Building the Interior of the Star, and Using the 9 Pointed Star.
KINISTER WORKOUT COMBO
This package of three DVDs from Bert Kinister contains his very first DVDs, often referred to as the 60 Minute Workout DVDs. This group contains The 60 Minute Workout, Run Out 9-Ball, and Secret 9-Ball Knowledge. These DVDs should be used in order to get the full value from them.
MORE KILLER SAFETIES FOR 8-BALL & 9-BALL
This is the second video that Bert Kinister focused on safety play. It's a collection of safeties that Bert sets up, explains and shoots, all the while sharing with you the nuances to focus on. You can't ever know too many safeties. This DVD will help.
ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK
This workout video from Bert Kinister will help you learn to move the cue ball around the able with precision and confidence. Bert walks you through the drills with his normal high-energy enthusiasm and shows you what and how to do it and why you should put in the effort.
RUN OUT NINE BALL
This is the second video in Bert Kinister's first series and follows up on the 60 Minute 9-Ball Workout. In it, Bert highlights a lot of additional information about the workout and how to use it effectively. This video should be used after the #1 DVD and before the #3 DVD.
SAFETY PLAY FOR 8-BALL & 9-BALL
This is the first video that Bert Kinister focused on safety play. Although his earlier videos applied to most games, this is the first one that he expressly addressed for 8-Ball in addition to 9-Ball. Having a lot of safeties at your beck and call will definitely help your winning average and this DVD will add some depth to your safety game.
SECRET 9-BALL KNOWLEDGE
This is the third video in Bert Kinister's first series and follows the Run Out 9-Ball video. In it, Bert shows you how to put the individual shots from the 60 Minute Workout together to run balls, starting with groups of three balls and working your way up to full racks.
THE 60 MINUTE WORKOUT
The first video in Bert Kinister's original series of three, this was one of the first instructional titles to catalog and name shots in an organized fashion. It is designed as a collection of shots you can go through in about an hour, either to learn better or, if you have already mastered them, to stay honed and ready to play. Use this one before moving to the second video.
THE ADVANCED 60 MINUTE WORKOUT
This DVD from master instructor Bert Kinister is a great workout video which is organized in a similar format as his first video, The 60 minute Workout. These shots have an additional level of complexity and are shots that you must have in your arsenal if you want to be a great player. This DVD will help you.
THE BIG BANG
This Bert Kinister video is focused on the big break, that explosive one that used to be the mainstay of good 9-Ball shooters. The bio-mechanics of this most important shot are clearly explained, but the demonstration is performed by one of Bert's students. He can really hit them, but his control is less than stellar. Watch is for the technical explanation.
THE DEFLECTION TAPE
In 1996, Bert called this his best video ever, but it was met with some controversy. Similar to an aiming technique the old-timers used to call "sweeping" the cue ball, this technique requires stroking off line, with english. You'll have to try it for a few hours to see if it helps you with the deflection issue, but at the very least, you'll learn how to intensify the spin you can get on the cue ball.
THE MIGHTY X
The second Kinister video dedicated to technique, this one is on the stroke and is undoubtedly one of his best DVDs. If you do the work in this one you will find and remove the flaws in your stroke. Although he recommends drawing lines on the cloth of your table, which he walks you through step by step, you can get away with using removable spots. Work is required, but big gains can be had.
THE SPEED TAPE
From Bert Kinister, this is one of those instruction videos where the core idea could be explained in about 20 minutes, but it takes an hour to shoot it off and convince you that the drill work will benefit you. It will, of course, but the work is tedious. Bear with it and you'll increase your finesse shots for sure.
THE-SHOT-MAKERS-WORKOUT
If you are like most pool players who love to make shots, then this workout video will be a lot of fun for you. It's also a great workout to do when you get to league night or a tournament venue and need to get warmed up. It will get you ready to play, but it's important to get used to it in practice sessions first.
USING THE 6 POINTED STAR
This is the second video in the Star Patterns, a total of four videos from Bert Kinister and a great set of drills to use if you want to bring up your run out success. This DVD expands on the Building the Pointed Star DVD and needs to be worked before you move on to the third video in the series.
USING THE 9 POINTED STAR
This is the final video of Bert Kinister’s fantastic 4-disk set, the Star Patterns. These are a set of drills that will bring your run out rate way up if you do the work. By the time you are able to complete the work in this final DVD you will be running racks. Building the Interior of the Star needs to be completed successfully before you start work on this one.
WINNING PATTERNS FOR 9-BALL & 8-BALL
When you know the patterns for running racks of 8-ball and 9-ball, it just gets easier. When you see a set of patterns instead of just a mess of balls on the table the shots get simpler and easier to execute and you become a better player. Bert knows this stuff and shares it with you on this DVD, walking you through it in detail.
WINNING SAFETIES FOR 1996
This is another collection of safety shots from Bert Kinister, all the great ones he has seen in competition in the year 1996. Bert does a fine job of explaining and shooting them and sets you up to learn them as quickly as possible. You can never know too many safeties.
